摘 要
莫言在《紅高粱家族》中以敢生敢死、敢愛敢恨的生命意識作為基調，寫出了1群不無土匪習氣卻又除暴安良、抗御外侮的英雄人物。莫言以1顆悲愴的心，通過對美好卻如“曇花1現”的生命的悲嘆、生命力狂舞的贊揚和對生存的艱難與悲壯的悲憫，上演了1支支生命的舞曲和生存的悲歌，也表達了他深沉厚重的悲劇意識。莫言的悲劇意識主要來源于4個方面：外國作品的影響；童年的生活體驗；農村與城市生活的對比體驗；對生命力下降、“種的退化”的深沉憂慮。
