名詞（noun）考點
1.可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞 可數(shù)名詞是表示個體或集體的有單復(fù)數(shù)之分的名詞。如：apple, horse, shirt 不可數(shù)名詞是表示物品的或抽象概念的名詞，沒有單復(fù)數(shù)之分。如：bread, sugar, news, water, grass, milk, pity, progress，information, advice, furniture, equipment, power, success,
failure, baggage/luggage, knowledge，weather, gas ,coffee, music, trouble, wealth, health, work, news, happiness, luck, education,rubbish,
2.可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)
英語中，表示一本書、一只雞、一棵樹等物質(zhì)概念時，要用名詞的單數(shù)形式，要在名詞前加a或an。如：This is a book. It’s an English book. 如果表示兩個或兩個以上的概念時，要用名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。如：He has two brothers.
規(guī)則變化：
(1).一般在名詞后-s workers
(2). 以s, x, sh 或ch結(jié)尾的在其后加-es
class wish watch 注意：month-months, mouth-mouths
(3). 以y結(jié)尾的：①元音字母加-y,直接加-s；②輔音字母加-y變y為i加-es ①day --days play—plays monkey--monkeys toy--toys
②baby --babies factory –factories library--libraries dictionary--dictionaries factory--factories century--centuries
(4).以0結(jié)尾的①無生命的加-s ②有生命的加-es
①radios photo s zoos radio-radios pianos kilos videos zeros bamboo
②potatoes tomatoes heroes volcanoes
(5).以f或fe結(jié)尾的，把f或fe變?yōu)?ves
leaf --lea knife—kni wife—wives 但：不規(guī)則變化
man, woman, foot tooth, mouse， goose ，phenomenon medium--- men, women, feet, teeth, mice geese ，phenomena media; child ox ---children oxen; sheep fish, deer, species, means--- Sheep fish, deer, species, means ; ①Chinese Japanese②German American③Frenchman Englishwoman---①Chinese Japanese②Germans Americans③Frenchmen Englishwomen
3.不可數(shù)名詞
(1)不可數(shù)名詞一般沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式，并且不能用不定冠詞a(an)或數(shù)詞one, two, three…修飾,但可以用some, any, a lot of等修飾。也可以用以下結(jié)構(gòu)：“數(shù)詞+量詞+of+不可數(shù)名詞” ,
a piece of news --一則消息 a drop of water-- 一滴水
five tons of coal--五噸煤 seventy glasses of--七十杯牛奶
(2)有些物質(zhì)名詞表達可數(shù)概念時可轉(zhuǎn)化為可數(shù)名詞
wind風(fēng)—a wind 一陣風(fēng) rain雨—a rain 一場雨 snow雪—a snow 一場雪 tea茶—a tea 一杯茶 beer啤酒—a beer一杯啤酒 coffee咖啡—a coffee 一杯咖啡
glass玻璃—a glass 一個玻璃杯 paper 紙—a paper一份論文/試卷/報紙
(3)可轉(zhuǎn)化為可數(shù)名詞的抽象名詞
beauty 美人或美麗的事 comfort 令人感到安慰的人或事 danger令人感到危險的人或事 death 死者，死亡人數(shù)
failure失敗的人或事 success成功的人或事
honor 令人感到光榮的人或事 pleasure/joy令人感到高興的人或事 regret/pity 令人遺憾的人或事 shame 令人感到羞恥的人或事 shock令人感到震驚的人或事 surprise 令人感到吃驚的人或事 wonder 令人感到驚異的人或事 envy 令人羨慕的人或事
三、名詞所有格
如果名詞是無生命的，我們就要用名詞+of+名詞的結(jié)構(gòu)來表示所有關(guān)系。如：the window of the room, the cover of the dictionary 等。
③ a ( this, some 等) + 名詞+of+’s表示雙重所有格
當(dāng)a, an, this, that, these, those, some 等名詞所有格共同修飾一個名詞時要用雙重所有格。如：Huan Huan is a dog of Mary’s.
