故事(一)

The Ant and the Dove

An ant is walking by the river. He looks at the river and says to himself, “How nice and cool this water looks! I must drink some of it.” But when he is drinking, he slips into the river.

“Oh.Help!Help!” The ant cries,

A dove is sitting in the tree. She hears him and throws him a leaf, “Climb up that leaf,” she says “and you will float bank.”

The ant climbs uo onto the leaf, and the wind blows the leaf to the bank. And the ant is saved.

“Thank you, Dove. You’re so kind,” The ant says and runs home, “You have saved my life, and I wish I could do something for you, Goodbye!”

“Goodbye!” says the dove, “Be careful. Not to fall into the river again.”

After a few days, the dove is building her nest. And a man is raising his gun to shoot her.

The ant sees this, and runs quickly to bite the man’s leg. “Ouch! Ouch!” The man feels pained and drops his gun. The dove hears and flies away. So the man picks up his gun and leave.

The dove comes to her nest. “Thank you, my little friend,” she says, “You have saved my life.”

The little ant is so glad, because he can help the dove.

螞蟻和鴿子

一只螞蟻在河邊散步。他看見河水自言自語(yǔ)道:“這河水看上去真清涼啊!我要去喝點(diǎn)!笨墒撬诤人臅r(shí)候,一不小心滑進(jìn)河里了。

“啊!救命!救命!’螞蟻叫喊著。

一只鴿子正呆在樹上,聽見呼救聲,就扔給他一片樹葉!翱炫赖綐淙~上去。她說:“你會(huì)漂到岸上的!

“謝謝你,鴿子。你真善良!蔽浵佉贿呎f一邊向家跑,“你救了我的命,我會(huì)感謝你的。再見!”

“再見!小心別掉進(jìn)河里了!兵澴诱f。幾天后,鴿子正在筑巢,一個(gè)人舉著槍要打鴿子。

螞蟻看見了,迅速地跑過去,在那個(gè)人的腿上咬了一口!鞍⊙!哎呀!”那個(gè)人疼得扔掉槍。鴿子聽見了,連忙飛走了。那個(gè)人只好撿起槍,走了。

鴿子又飛回巢里。“謝謝你,我的小朋友。”鴿子說,“你救了我的命!

小螞蟻可高興了,因?yàn)樗矌椭锁澴印?/p>

故事(二)

The clever rabbit

The wolf and the fox want to eat the rabbit, but it wasn't easy to catch him.

One day the wolf says to the fox, "You go home and lie in bed. I'll tell the rabbit that you are dead. When he comes to look at you, you can jump up and catch him." That's a good idea," says the fox.

The fox goes home at once. The wolf goes to the rabbit's house and knocked at the door. "Who is it?" asks the rabbit. "It's the wolf. I come to tell you that the fox is dead." Then the wolf goes away.

The rabbit goes to the fox's house. He looked in through the window and sees the fox lying in bed with his eyes closed. He thinks, "Is the fox really dead or is he pretending to be dead? If he's not dead, he'll catch me when I go near him." so he said, "The wolf says that the fox is dead. But he doesn't look like a dead fox. The mouth of a dead fox is always open." When the fox hears this, he thinks, "I'll show him that I'm dead." So he opened his mouth.

The rabbit knows that the fox isn't dead, and he rans away quickly.

聰明的兔子

狼和狐貍想要吃掉兔子,但是這只兔子太難抓到了。

一天,狼對(duì)狐貍說:“你回家假裝躺在床上。我去告訴兔子你已經(jīng)死了。當(dāng)他來看你的時(shí)候,你就可以跳起來抓住他了!薄罢媸莻(gè)好主意!”狐貍說。

于是他立刻回到家。狼去兔子的房前敲了敲門,“是誰(shuí)啊?”兔子問道!袄,我是來告訴你狐貍已經(jīng)死了!闭f完狼就走開了。

兔子去狐貍家看情況。他通過狐貍家的窗戶看到閉著眼睛的狐貍躺在床上。他想,狐貍是真的死了,還是在假裝呢?如果他沒有死,那么我走近他就會(huì)被他抓住。于是他說:“狼說狐貍死了。但是他看起來并不像死掉了呀。死去的狐貍通常都是張著嘴的!焙偮牭竭@些話就想:我得證明自己是真的死了。于是他張開了嘴巴。

這時(shí)兔子知道狐貍并沒有死,他就以最快的速度跑開啦。

故事(三)

One day the king of animals asked a cat to see how his palace was built. After a few hours, the little cat came back and said to the tiger, “Oh, your palace is very large, tall and beautiful. ”Several days later the tiger asked a pig to see it. He said, “Go and see how my palace is built. ”But when the pig came back, he said to the tiger, “My dear king, I thought your palace is beautiful, but it suits yourself only. ”

The tiger was very surprised when he heard it. “Why are the cat’s and the pig’s answers not the same? ”he said to himself. He then asked a camel to go to have a look. Before long the camel ran back out of breath and said to the tiger, “Oh, your palace is too small for you to live in, my king. ”

The king became very angry when he heard what the camel said. He said to the animals angrily, “Maybe somebody of you tell lies. Three people have three ideas. I want to kill you. ”Just at the moment, a fox came out to stop the tiger from doing that. He asked the tiger himself to go to see it before killing them.

After the tiger saw the palace himself, he thought that their answers were all right. He said to the animals, “To see with one’s own eyes is more important than only to hear others. ”

眼見為實(shí)

一天,百獸之王讓一只小貓去看看他的宮殿建造得怎么樣。幾個(gè)小時(shí)之后,小貓回來了,對(duì)老虎說:“您的宮殿非常大,又高又漂亮!睅滋旌,老虎又讓一只豬去看看。他說:“去看看我的宮殿建造得如何。”但是,豬回來之后卻對(duì)老虎說:“親愛的國(guó)王陛下,雖然您的宮殿很漂亮,但是它只容得下您自己!

老虎聽到這些話感到很吃驚!盀槭裁簇埡拓i說的話不一樣呢?”老虎自語(yǔ)著。然后他又讓一頭駱駝去看一看。駱駝很快便氣喘吁吁地跑回來了,它對(duì)老虎說:“我的國(guó)王,您的宮殿對(duì)于您來說,實(shí)在是太小了,都沒法住!碑(dāng)老虎聽到駱駝所說的話時(shí),變得非常生氣。他生氣地對(duì)動(dòng)物們說:“你們?nèi)齻(gè)人中有人說謊了,三個(gè)人有三個(gè)看法。我要處死你們!本驮谶@時(shí),一只狐貍過來阻止老虎那樣做。他請(qǐng)求老虎在殺他們之前,自己親自去看看。老虎親自看完宮殿后,認(rèn)為他們的答案都是對(duì)的。他對(duì)動(dòng)物們說:“眼見為實(shí),耳聽為虛!
