容易忽視的商務(wù)英語(yǔ)細(xì)節(jié)

　　1、Personal vs. Personnel   　　密切注意這些單詞的拼寫(xiě)和重音!"Personnel"是個(gè)名詞意思是公司的職員。例如Our company has the best personnel in the industry.重音落在單詞的末尾。Personal是個(gè)形容詞意思是私人或是個(gè)人。I'm requesting a day of annual leave for personal reasons.重音容落在單詞的開(kāi)頭。如果你不仔細(xì)，你就可能說(shuō)成personal meeting而不是personnel meeting.   　　2、Present? Presentate? Presentation?   　　當(dāng)你作presentation時(shí)present信息。Present是個(gè)動(dòng)詞意思是將某物呈現(xiàn)給別人。presentation是常在商務(wù)中推出新信息時(shí)使用的一種形式。許多人-就算是一些英語(yǔ)的本土人士- 認(rèn)為"presentate"是 "presentation."的動(dòng)詞形式。不要犯同樣的錯(cuò)誤!   　　3、Executive   　　executive是公司的管理人員。如果你正在向訪客或是客戶(hù)介紹你公司的高層executives，那就要注意單詞的發(fā)音嘍!如果你將重音落在 u上，那么executive馬上就聽(tīng)起來(lái)execute(將某人殺死或判死刑)。   　　4、Headquarters and Information   　　許多的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者把headquarters這個(gè)單詞的"s"漏掉而在information后加上了"s"。Headquarters是個(gè)單數(shù)名詞意思是公司的總部：I'm going to headquarters this weekend to meet with the CEO.Headquarters是個(gè)微妙的單詞因?yàn)樗�是�?s"結(jié)尾的�？雌饋�(lái)象是個(gè)復(fù)數(shù)名詞!但是漏掉"s"會(huì)把headquarters變成個(gè)動(dòng)詞，to headquarter.   　　5、I look forward to hearing from you.   　　這個(gè)短語(yǔ)通常用于商務(wù)信件中。但是學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)者常寫(xiě)成，I look forward to hear from you.這不正確并且讓英語(yǔ)本土人士聽(tīng)起來(lái)有些滑稽。動(dòng)詞 hear在這個(gè)短語(yǔ)中總是要有ing的。   　　在另一方面，許多學(xué)習(xí)者在information后加上了"s"。大多數(shù)人的理由是如果他們需要很多的信息，他們就需要把這個(gè)單詞變成復(fù)數(shù)，例如，I need informations on overseas study programs.但是信息是個(gè)不可數(shù)名詞(它沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)名詞)。你只需要說(shuō)，I need some information.
