寫法指導
一、認真審題,準確把握提示要求。
1. 審體裁。準確把握體裁是寫好一篇文章關(guān)鍵的一步。體裁的形式直接決定著考生用英語表達信息的途徑和形式,并影響著書面表述語句的正確性和準確性。
2. 審人稱。根據(jù)體裁要求,要準確把握人稱的使用。是用第一、二人稱,還是用第三人稱。
3. 審時態(tài)。不同的體裁,其動詞時態(tài)的使用也各有不同。一般情況下, 故事、日記等體裁常以一般過去時為主要動詞時態(tài);書信、便條、通知等體裁常以一般現(xiàn)在時為主要動詞時態(tài)。
分析以上實例,應(yīng)以第一人稱的口吻進行描寫。從題目要求、表內(nèi)要點以及體裁可知,本文時態(tài)應(yīng)以一般現(xiàn)在時為主體時態(tài)。
二、 理清表內(nèi)要點,進行合理發(fā)揮。
圖表式書面表達其主要內(nèi)容常被列在表內(nèi)�？忌紫缺仨毨砬灞韮�(nèi)內(nèi)容要點,抓住主要信息進行描寫�？上劝驯韮�(nèi)所提供的內(nèi)容要點用英語列出,盡量使用一些較高層次的詞匯或短語以及所學過的句法結(jié)構(gòu)(如定語從句、分詞結(jié)構(gòu)等)進行描述。例如上述實例圖表中的內(nèi)容可用英語列出以下幾個短語或句式:
(1) practice a policy of "Late Marriage" and "One Couple, One Child"
(2) reduce the birth rate
(3) have a tight control over country people entering cities to do various physical jobs
(4) lighten the pressure on the city caused by the increasing population
(5) build apartment blocks with shopping centers, schools, hospitals, as well as cinemas and theaters around us or even build satellite towns in the city suburbs or the counties round the cities
(6) encourage city citizens to move there to live and work
三、 正確使用過渡性詞語,提高文章的連貫性。
過渡性詞語的使用是語言的連貫性得以實現(xiàn)的最常用手段。在句子與句子之間,段落與段落之間恰當?shù)厥褂靡恍┏猩蠁⑾碌倪^渡性詞語是非常必要的。例如上述實例,我們可在要點(1)前插入表示時間順序的過渡詞語 first / firstly, 在要點(3)前插入secondly,在要點(5)前插入finally。在要點(6)前可以插入表示終結(jié)關(guān)系的過渡短語in this way / by this means。
常用過渡詞語:
1. 表示起始關(guān)系的有: first of all, according to, so far, as far as, to begin with, in my opinion等。
2. 表示時間順序的有: first, then, later, in the end, finally, at last, after that, since then, immediately, suddenly, soon等。
3. 表示空間順序的有: on the right / left, on one side of, at the top / foot / end of, in the middle of, in front of, at the back of等。
4. 表示并列關(guān)系的有:and, or, also, too, as well as, neither...nor, not only...but also, either...or, not...but等。
5. 表示轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系的有: but, yet, however, while, on the cont rary 等。
6. 表示因果關(guān)系的有: because, since, as, for, thanks to, thus, therefore, as a result (of), one reason is that...another reason is that...等。
7. 表示條件關(guān)系的有: if, unless, as (so) long as, on condition that等。
8. 表示讓步關(guān)系的有: although, though, even if, in spite of, after all, in fact, what (who, when, where, how...) ever 等。
9. 表示遞進關(guān)系的有:what's more, further more, besides, what's worse, to make the matter worse, also, still, on the one hand...on the other hand等。
10. 表示列舉事實的過渡性詞語有:for example / instance, such as, take...for example, as follows, and so on等。
11. 表示總結(jié)性的有:in short, in brief, in a word, on the whole等。
12. 表示過渡性的插入語有: I think (believe, suppose, imagine, guess...), I'm afraid, you know, as is known to us all, as we all know 等。

What is happiness in my mind?
Happiness means different things to different people. For example, some students, believe that if they have much money or large possessions, they will be happy. They believe that they will be able to do anything they want to if they have much money. Some students think that they should be in good health, and enjoy whatever they like. Many students wish to have much wealth from their parents. In this way they don’t have to work hard, and they can own everything .
I don’t quite agree with the above points. I don’t think money means happiness.
