春節(jié)英語作文 篇2

An important activity during the Spring Festival is bainian (to pay a New Year call). People start to pay New Year calls from the lunar New Year#39;s Day, that is, the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar. Ever since the Ming Dynasty in the 14th century, ordinary people have begun to exchange greeting cards on this day.

On the morning of the lunar New Year#39;s Day, people get up very early and call on others. The earlier one does so, the more sincere he is. Moreover, people wear new clothes and a new cap, symbolizing that a new year has begun.

The younger generation should call on their elders first, such as the grandfather, grandmother, father and mother, wishing them "Good health" and "Long life". Then the elders give children some money in a red envelope as a New Year gift. After that, people call on their relatives, friends and neighbors. As "big tangerine" is a homonym for "very lucky" in Chinese, so people often present red big tangerines as a gift while paying a New Year call.

Nowadays, besides greeting cards, people also use telephones and e-mails to pay New Year calls.

"Excuse me, is miss yuan there?" Outside the door stood a tall young man, dressed in a suit, and asked politely. Grandma heard the noise and hurried to meet her, but she did not know her. The young man had to report himself to his family, who had been a pupil twenty years before.

The grandmother suddenly realized, hurried to take him through the door, the teachers and students meeting, good and not to have a small talk. Just as they were talking, the doorbell rang again, and this time it was my aunt. The two of them soon recognized each other because they were classmates.

At that time, my aunt was the representative of the English class in the class. He is often criticized by his English teacher for failing to recite English words. At that time, the English teacher also had a headache and asked his aunt to help him with his English. However, he did not understand the kindness, and repeatedly misbehaved.

"Miss yuan, when you asked me to take you to see the parents for this matter, I took you in a very lucky circle with my luck. I hope you won't see my parents. But until it was dark, you didn't give up, and I didn't think it was enough to get you into the house. Do you remember that? Everyone burst out laughing.

Between the teachers and students about that time, like a number of treasures. Listening to their conversation, I felt as if I were there.

"Miss yuan, I have today's achievement, is inseparable from your teaching."

I can't believe that such a naughty child will change his attitude of study, enter university and become the chief of chongming electric power bureau.

I looked out of the window, thinking what, decades of years, he became a big officer, however are in thinking teaching throughout his teacher, perhaps this is a seemingly insipid, and precious emotion between teachers and students, at the same time I also to have such a grandma "teacher" and proud.

This is a very strange return to the family day!
