a/an：一個(gè)，泛指
the：這個(gè)，特指
一、不定冠詞的用法
1.不定冠詞有兩個(gè)：a和an
a用于以輔音音標(biāo)開頭的單詞之前。
一本書 a book 一個(gè)女人 a woman
an用于以元音音標(biāo)開頭的單詞之前。
一個(gè)蘋果 an apple 一位老人 an old 一個(gè)小時(shí) an hour 一個(gè)雞蛋 an egg
2.一些固定詞組：
a hundred 一百 a lot of 許多 a couple 一對(duì)
have a rest 休息 make a living謀生 a great deal 很多 a few、a little 一些
二、 定冠詞的用法
1.定冠詞的一般用法
① 用于第二次談到的人或物 She has a bag. The bag is yellow. 她有一個(gè)包，這個(gè)包是黃色的。
② 用于雙方共知的人或物
I don’t like the coat. 我不喜歡這件大衣。
③ “the + n單數(shù).”可以表示一類人或物 the panda 大熊貓 the driver 司機(jī)
2.定冠詞的特殊用法
①定冠詞常用于一些特定詞的前面。
the Yellow River 黃河 play the piano 彈鋼琴 the Great Wall 長(zhǎng)城 the United Nations 聯(lián)合國(guó) the USA 美國(guó) the UK 英國(guó)
②用于姓氏復(fù)數(shù)之前表示全家人/夫婦倆
the Greens格林一家 the Lis 李先生一家
③“the + adj.”表示一類人或物
the rich 富人 the poor 窮人 the young man 年輕人
④用于一些固定詞組中
in the evening at the time在此時(shí) in the front of 在?里面前部（比較 in front of）
3. 不用冠詞的情況
① 在一些專有名詞（人名、地名、月份、節(jié)日等）之前，不用冠詞
Miss Laura 勞拉小姐 Doctor Smith 史密斯醫(yī)生 Australia 澳大利亞 March 三月 Children’s Day 兒童節(jié)
② 名詞前已有修飾詞的時(shí)候，不用冠詞
this morning 今天早上 my book 我的書 your child 你的孩子
③ 在表示三餐、球類、棋類和游戲等名詞前，一般不用冠詞
play basketball 打籃球 play cards 打牌 play games 玩游戲 have supper 吃晚飯
④ 在抽象名詞前，一般不用冠詞
We love peace. 我們愛和平。 Smoking is bad for health. 吸煙有害健康。
