女士們，先生們：
下午好!我的演講題目是沙塵暴。
沙塵暴是我國北方地區(qū)春季日益頻繁發(fā)生的一種惡劣天氣。雖然我才13歲，但也經(jīng)歷過多次了。
我想大家對上月發(fā)生的沙塵暴記憶猶新，它席卷了11個省，給我國造成了很大的損失。
正如您從電視上看到的，沙塵暴所到之處，狂風(fēng)卷著黃沙和塵土肆劣橫行，有時候一些大樹都被從中間吹倒了。鳥兒失去他們的家園，孩子們也找不到回家的路，就像到了世界末日。
當(dāng)沙塵暴發(fā)生時，我們的教室也充滿了沙塵�？蓱z的老師，盡管已飽受粉筆灰之苦，現(xiàn)在又不得不待在灰塵中�？蓱z的同學(xué)們，他們告訴我簡直都要窒息了!
我們熱愛美麗的`春天，我們珍愛明媚的陽光。但是沙塵暴給這些蒙上了陰影，我們知道，沙塵暴是大自然母親對我們破壞生態(tài)劣行的懲罰。要重新看到蔚藍(lán)的天空和明媚的春光，我們必須綠化山川，保護(hù)環(huán)境。如果我們現(xiàn)在就開始，還不晚。
雖然這是一項艱巨的任務(wù)，但是我們必須勇敢地面對，因為這是一場我們必須獲勝的戰(zhàn)斗!

Hello everyone. Today, I’dlike to talk about“Howto improve our English”.To be honest, I’mreally happy to stand here and say something about learningEnglish, even if I’monly a beginner of English.
As everybody knows. English is an intern- ational language.What’smore China has ente- red the WTO. Therefore it’snecessary for us to learn it.But“howcan I improve my English”youmay ask. Well, I have some useful tips that I’dlike to share with you.
Firstly, make sure that you pay enough atte- ntion to yourpronunciation and intonation. Otherwise, you might make yourself alaughing stock. For example,“CanI use your bike?”yousay,“CanI use your back?”“Passme the case, please”.yousay,“passme the kiss, please”O(jiān)bviously,here you mispronounced the two words “bike”and“case”.Thatwill certainly cause misunderstanding. Besides, tones of differentvoice can also mean difference. For instance,“Londonbridge is falling down, fall- ing down, my fairLady”,“Londonbridge is falling down!”youare excited, again“Londonbridge is falling down, falling down, my fairLady”,“Londonbridge is falling down”youare so sad, right?
Secondly, practice makes perfect. Don’tbe afraid to make mistakes when you practise speaking English.>’tbe shy, try to be thic- kskinned and speak up !
Finally, in order to improve our English, we need to be patient ,Anyway, learning English takes time, so you must have a strong willand enough patience, Recember“Romewas not built in a day !”
